63_1r11302011_mc_ferran_adria_0782Ferrán Adriá is not only a famous Spanish chef, but he is considered one of the best in the world in the molecular gastronomy circuit. Starting out as a cook in military, Adriá fell in love with the art of cooking and eventually became the head chef at El Bulli. Adriá became an award winning chef and his talent in modern cooking brought El Bulli to the top of the charts five times between 2002 and 2009 earning it an impressive 3 start Michelin status. Ferrán has taught classes on culinary physics at Harvard University and has written several books on the subject. He has also been featured in Forbes for his entrepreneurial work across the world.

 

cachecachejuillet59Pedro Almodóvar is a big name in Spain for his acting, producing, directing and screen writing. Pedro emerged in the film industry during La Movida Madrileña when he produced may contraversial films during the cultural revolution. Pedro has come a long way from indie films and is now an Academy Award winning director and screen writer for the film All About my Mother and Talk to Her. Since then he has contunied to create award worthy films across all genres and is a staple in Spanish culture as being one of the most successful Spanish filmmakers out there today.
