Imperial Morocco #1 – Fez, Meknes & The Roman Ruins

Transportation from Spain to Morocco and back is not included in this package. You will need to book your own flights and send us the flight details. With these details, we will happily arrange your airport pick-up and drop off in Morocco at no extra charge.

Ryanair has the best prices and ideal flight times for this Morocco trip! We recommend looking at their available flights through Skyscanner so you can compare.

Important Things to Keep in Mind:

• You will need to fly in to Fez.
• Plan to arrive to Fez on Friday, October 4th (We recommend the Ryanair flight FR5931 landing in Fez at 22:15)
• Plan to leave Fez on Sunday, October 6th (We recommend the Ryanair flight FR5930 leaving Fez at 20:50)

Day 1: Fez (Friday)

This day is all about arriving to Fez. Pick the flight that suits you best and even if you arrive before our recommended flight, we will arrange a transfer from the airport to the hotel for you.

Day 2: Fez – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez (Saturday)

Our day starts with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before we set out on an exciting journey. We’ll first head to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you’ll explore the impressive archaeological site and its well-preserved structures (tickets to enter the ruins are included in our trips package). After soaking in the history, we’ll drive to Meknes for lunch and spend the afternoon discovering the city’s historical landmarks and vibrant markets. In the evening, we’ll return to Fez, where a traditional Moroccan dinner awaits us at our hotel.

Day 3: Fez – Return to Madrid (Sunday)

We’ll start our final day with an early breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a panoramic bus tour around Fez. We’ll pass by the King’s Palace and visit a local pottery craft shop to witness traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. After the bus tour, we’ll delve into a walking tour of the vibrant Fez Medina, exploring its historic streets and bustling markets.

Following lunch, you’ll have some free time to relax, shop for souvenirs and savor Moroccan cuisine before we head to the airport for your flight back to Madrid.

In Fez we will be staying in a hotel. Room assignments will be determined based on the information that you provide us when signing up.

Group Name

When signing up for this trip you will see the option to indicate a “group name”. This is where you can inform of about who you would like to share a room with. We will always do our best to keep your group together.

If you have purchased a ticket without indicating a group name, we will assume that you are ok with being placed in a room with someone you may not know. If this is not the case, please reach out to us at [email protected] to inform us about your roommate request.

We have planned this trip’s itinerary around the most affordable flight options that are available.

Those who wish to arrive earlier or stay in Fez for one more night are welcome to book our Extra Night add-on in addition to their Basic Package ticket. We will arrange an additional night for you at one of our group’s hotels for the price of 50€. This price includes:

• 1 night at our group hotel
• Breakfast at the hotel (depending on when your flight leaves)
• Airport transfer

IMPORTANT: If you do choose to stay an extra night with us, please send your flight details to [email protected] so we can prepare the shuttle accordingly.

Please make sure you have your passport with you. It also needs to be valid for at least 6 months from the moment you enter Morocco!
