On this trip, you will not only explore the city of the famous hanging houses of Cuenca. But also experience canyoning in the Júcar River!
We will begin our day by taking you on an adventure through Cuenca’s most important river, the Júcar. Jumping off rocks, being engulfed in small waterfalls, flowing through the currents of the Júcar River. Canyoning is an experience you must live at least once in your lifetime! After spending an amazing morning diving into the clear waters, swimming through the natural pools, and hiking through the woods. We will visit the town of Cuenca.
A small town off the beaten track and located about 2 hours outside of Madrid, Cuenca is perhaps best known for its “hanging houses,” perched on the side of cliffs and resembling small medieval fortresses. Close by in the historic center, wander the small cobbled streets and see the suspended bridge, all of which make for one of the most unique places in Spain. Grab a nice lunch in the city’s center and relax while looking at the beautiful cathedral, because you’ll need that energy after such an exciting day!
