Most people know her as that lucky woman who married Thor. But here in Spain, Elsa Pataky is known as a geniune Madrileño success story! Her parents were both very successful in their respective fields and they certainly supported Elsa when she changed her dreams from journalism to acting. She´s been featured in many majorly successful film franchises and has even spanned out to the world of producing. Elsa was born right here in Madrid and spent her early years studying journalism at the Universidad de San Pablo CEU. Her time there inspired her to take a look into world of theatre where she immediatly found success. She enrolled at the Teatro Cámara de Ángel Gutiérrez where she finally discovered her true calling. She quickly found work as an actress on the show Al Salir de Clase which lead to a series of big films and shows around Europe. After starring in several major flicks in Spain, France and the UK, Elsa got the life changing call to be featured on the cover of the American magazine Maxim. After that she landed a reaccuring role in the Fast and Furious franchise and even landed a cameo role opposite her husband in Thor: Dark World. Elsa still acts in smaller, Spanish and Latin films and has even started a prosperous modelling career for some massive brand names and was even named one of the highest paid models in the world in 2015.
