They say the heart of a culture lies in its food, and Spain is no exception! With our Meet & Cook cooking class series you can learn how to make (and eat) some of the most famous Spanish dishes and bring yourself even closer to this wonderful country. Experience culture through the art of cooking with Citylife Madrid!
Each month we organize a cooking class in a professional cooking school where you will learn how to prepare traditional Spanish dishes. At the beginning of the class you will discover the history behind each dish, the key ingredients, and how to prepare a classic Spanish drink. Then it’s time for hands-on experience: you’ll cook 3/4 dishes with an experienced chef and sit down to enjoy everything you made together with a glass of Sangría or Tinto de Verano. Qué aproveche!
This class is conducted in Spanish, but being very visual it is quite easy to follow even if you don’t speak the language.

What is included in the ticket price? +
Your ticket includes all ingredients, the cooking class with a professional chef, tortilla de patatas, paella, tarta de Santiago, gazpacho and a glass of Sangría.
What is the City Card discount? +
City Card holders pay 44€ instead of the standard 49€. The discount applies only to the card holder. Get your City Card at citylifemadrid.com/city-card.
How long is the class? +
The class runs from 19:30 to 21:00. Approximately 1.5 hours including the intro, hands-on cooking and eating together at the end.
Where do we meet? +
We meet directly at Apetit’ oh!, Calle de Seco 14, Madrid 28007. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts at 19:30.
Is the class in Spanish or English? +
The class is conducted in Spanish, but being very visual it is quite easy to follow even if you don’t speak the language.
Do I need any cooking experience? +
Not at all! The class is designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced home cook, the chef will guide you through every step. Just come with enthusiasm!
Is there an age limit? +
The Meet & Cook is open to everyone 18 and over. It’s a great experience for all ages, whether you’re a student, a professional or just someone who loves food and meeting new people!
