Madrid Destino is the municipal company responsible for managing and promoting tourism in the capital. The work to promote Madrid and to consolidate the image of the capital both within Spain and outside its borders is supported by the official website, esMADRID.com, and focuses on specific activities, such as attending professional trade fairs and forums, and marketing, advertising and communication campaigns.

One of its primary goals is to position Madrid as a major destination for business and conference tourism. Madrid Destino has a specific body, the Madrid Convention Bureau (MCB), for this purpose.

In addition, Madrid Destino welcomes and attends to visitors through 10 permanent Tourist Information Centers and Points, temporary information desks at congresses, fairs and one-off events, and through specific tourist information campaigns.

It also operates a wide-ranging Programme of Official Guided Tours, the Madrid City Tour tourist bus and the Madrid Card tourist pass, providing visitors with a variety of alternatives through which they can discover and enjoy Madrid’s tourist attractions. Madrid Destino is responsible for creating and developing strategies to promote tourism and to raise the profile of Madrid as a destination for both domestic and international tourism. In it you can discover all the tourist attractions available and find out what’s on the capital’s cultural and entertainment agenda in nine languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian and Japanese).
