As one of Europe´s main big cities, Madrid is one of those places where, you´ll be able to find anything you´re looking for! Malasaña & La Latina
Hipsters, punks or hippies, what´s clear is that all IT people have hung out in these neighbourhoods for decades. Hundreds of hidden local stores offering both the quirkiest and raddest stuff in the city can be found here, as well as the city´s best vintage and second hand shops in Madrid. Malasaña´s neighbours are known as the coolest people of Madrid, so if you want to keep up to date with the new trends, just go and look around!
Gran Vía
Featuring all major Spanish brands, including Zara, Stradivarius, Oysho and the wonderful department store El Corte Inglés, Gran Vía is one of the liveliest areas of the city, perfect for shopping, dining, or bar crawling. As it´s name implies, this is one of the largest streets of Madrid, going all the way from Plaza de España to Cibeles! And there´s basically nothing you won´t be able to find here!
El Rastro
El Rastro is known to be Madrid´s biggest public flea market. Here you´ll be able to find a little bit of everything, from antiques and furniture to books and clothes. There are also plenty of food stalls in case you get hungry while shopping for bargains! This market takes place every Sunday morning, and the atmosphere is lovely, but because of it being very popular amongst tourists you should beware of pickpockets!
Calle Fuencarral & Its Side Streets
Not only filled with amazing bars and excellent restaurants, this street is packed with both high-end and high-street brands such as Levi’s, Brandy Melville, Mac, Lush and Intimissimi. Being very close to Malasaña, this is definitely one of Madrid´s locals´ favourite spots in Madrid to go shopping and hang out with friends!
Las Rozas Village
Around half an hour away by bus from the city centre you´ll be able to find this picturesque outlet shopping centre with brands like Ray Ban, Quicksilver, Vans, Polo or Ugg offering great deals! Las Rozas Village has more than 100 boutiques of the best international and European brands. In addition to discounts of up to 60% on the original price, Las Rozas Village houses a great variety of restaurants and cafes, and offers a careful selection of services!
